In this chapter, Hiroyuki and his father discuss the events of the previous day. Hiroyuki tells his father that he and his friends have been unable to take part in the school's festival because of the inclement weather. He asks his father to help him cheer the school rugby team at their next game, but his father refuses, saying that the festival is too exciting for him. He tells Hiroyuki that he wishes he could "do things over" like the imamura did in the play. He then asks Hiroyuki why he had to come to the school like he was Hiroyuki's girlfriend, and Hiroyuki replies that they would still "hurry up" and "break be dating her" at this point, but still "hey . . Get back to dating" him like before the festival
