In this chapter, Mina explains that she wants to quit the theater club because she thinks that fujieda is going through a lot right now, and that it's unbearable for her to do all the things she used to do. Mina also tells us that taka is still in high school, and has been since she was a teenager. Mina says that she ran into taka outside of the theatre club's room when she was in her second year of college. Supposedly, taka went on a talk show and talked about how ugly she was and how she was bullied at school. Mina thinks that this is why she's grown so much stronger since she went through all of this. She hopes that by joining the club, she'll be able to change her fate and make her a better person.
