In the underground river, the Gleggs chirp at each other. Gleggs explains that he's been there since he can remember, but that the place will eventually collapse once he leaves. He wants to take Gleggs out into the world to see the beauty of it. He thinks that Gleggs will probably envy him, since Gleggs is the only reason he exists in the first place. He explains that since he left, Gleggs has lost his only reason for existence. He says that he is the one who created him, and he apologizes for being too reckless. He tells Gleggs that he will vanish the moment he sets foot in the world, but he doesn't regret the beautiful sky he sees. He wonders what Gleggs's fate is, since in the past Gleggs brought someone out, or even caused a commotion like this. He's grateful to have had such an experience.
