About This Chapter
The two boys continue to argue about whether or not they should continue their fight. The older boy says that he's not going to waste his time with the younger one, and the younger boy responds by saying that they're both crazy, and that they shouldn't waste their time on each other. The younger boy says he doesn't care what the older one thinks of him, because he'd rather be alone than be in the middle of a fight between two people. He says that the older boy is different from the other boys in that he hasn't had anyone to help him in his life, and he can't stand the sight of people ganging together on him. He also says that whenever he feels angry, he feels like another person, and it's painful. He tells the older kid that he hates himself for being like that. He reminds the younger kid that sometimes he forgot his mother, and sometimes he almost hurt her. He wants to go back to the village to play with the older boys, but the older brother says he'll come back to fetch him. The elder brother tells the younger brother that his arm is broken, and his body is so weak that he can barely walk. He asks the older man if he're really useless now, since he has gotten so strong, and if so, why is he unable to catch him up? The older brother tells him that they first met when they were younger, and they still feel the same way, even though they've drifted away from each other
