In this chapter, Zhai tells the story of how he and the other two young men, the "organization assassin" and the "zero rhythm and chi-shang," were the first humans to arrive on the shores of the new world. They were determined to leave the secular world behind and try to figure out the "summit of spiritual will" , but they were unable to do so because of their lack of strength. The four of them touched the relic of the old world, and they heard an ancient voice say that the second batch was the first batch. Zhai explains that he inherited the "will of love," which means that he has no desire or need, and that he is pursuing the "absolute force" that he feels is the "rule of the world" . In other words, he is the first man to arrive, and he is also the second man to inherit the world.
