In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "Florentine" , who has just returned to the world after a long absence. She is dressed in her father's clothes, and she asks her father why he is dressed the way he is. He tells her that he is ashamed of himself for being dressed like this, and that he blames it on others for taking his clothes. She tells him that he deserves to be beaten, and he slaps her again, saying that he beat her without any reason. She asks him if he knows how he treated her, and his answer is that he did not. He reminds her that she fought for her life to get to the present world, and reminds her of her past. He asks her if she has three wills, but to her, he is just trash. She says that different wills can have different strength, but that the strength of their wills determines who is stronger. Some wills are stronger than others, and some wills even overpower someone of the same class. She then asks him what malice within him is, and how he should deal with him. He says that he needs to get away, even if he loses his arm, because he cannot understand his existence. He then asks her about how she managed to stop the punishment of the gods. She replies that she almost forgot what she came to do, and says that she has to find someone to help her get her powers back.
