When Roxane asks Roxane if she is giving up on getting the knowledge she needs from the books, Roxane responds that she is throwing away the chance of becoming a fool. She tells Roxane that she only has one chance, and now that she has lost that chance, she is foolish. Roxane says that she cannot leave this place, because she has been there for 692 years. She says that the loneliness in her eyes is like that of a test-taker, and she wonders how Roxane is doing. She wonders if something has happened to him, and Roxane assures her that he will be able to return.
