This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the novel. It's the middle of the day, and the group of guys is still hanging out at sunset college. They're all laughing at each other, and they're trying to figure out what's keeping them all hanging out so late at night. One of the guys says, "Hey, I was expecting you guys to meet as soon as possible, but you guys are hanging out all day long, so I'm not going to meet you until after sunset." The other guys are like, "Dude, we're hanging out late because you're the best looking guys in the room, right?" The first guy says that he's been hanging out with the other guys all day, so he doesn't want to meet them at sunset.
