In this chapter, the audience is introduced to a new character named "Ping" , who is a student at sunset college. He is the son of "Geduo," the founder of the school, and the father of "Peng," the director of the university. The scene opens with a description of the battle between the two groups of soldiers. The battle is being fought in the middle of the night, during which time the battle is taking place. As the battle begins, "peng" tries to attack the enemy, but he is unable to do so because of his father's presence in the room. When the battle ends, the two students exit.
