The next morning, the three return to sunset college, where the vice-dean has told them that they cannot lose anyone. They decide to go back to the "horrible place" together, and then they'll send Tanzi back with them. Before they leave, however, they have to tell everyone that they're going on a mission, and that's what they've been talking about for the last three days. They're leaving, they say, and are heading to a "very far away place" . They don't know what to say, so they just blurt out what they want to say.
