The two men kneel down and ask if they can open the door to the basement. They've tried, but the door can't be opened. They ask if the basement is just a "piece of secret" from the past, and they say it is. He asks if the past is forever in the past. He says it is, and that one day they'll find out where they are supposed to be taking the test.
