About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a series of rapid-fire attacks by Nemo, followed by a long speech by Nemo in which he declares that Nemo's death will be the end of the world as we know it. The speech is interrupted by the sound of a clap and a stream of screams. Nemo is overcome with emotion as he realizes that his own defense has been completely destroyed. He exclaims, "I can't defend myself against the ocean's psychic will" . He then launches into a tirade against Nemo, claiming that his existence brings troubles and that his actions are the cause of his troubles. He declares that his attacks have caused no damage to Nemo, and that he is certain that Nemo is dead
