About This Chapter
In this chapter, we are introduced to the "bam bam" , a term used to describe the puny humans who live in the world. We are told that bam is the "true form of malice" and that malice is "the strongest will" among all others. In other words, bam says that he is not afraid of human beings. He tells us that he and rogge are "one combine existence" . He says that they live together and that they are "just a tiny fly" to him. He asks that they stop "torture" and go and die. He wants them to stop "machemality" and "nothingness" and be buried by "endless malice." He tells them to wake up and "burn into ashes" because they will be consumed with "the flames of malice." They are the ones who have stopped him, he says, and they should not include them. He reminds them that they were always gentle children, but that King Zhai was their protector, and that now he has the power to protect them. They are all stronger than him, and he asks if this is what they have decided. "Shall be my will," he asks.
