In this chapter, we learn that the younger brother of Hero 1 has been promoted to the rank of a war hero. This is a big step up from his younger brother, who used to be a simple soldier. The younger brother is worried that his strength is not up to the task of standing on his own two feet. He's also worried that he's going to get run over by an enemy walker. He also worries that he won't survive the close combat that comes with using his space skills. He can't even get close enough to hit the walker with his shield, which means he'll be wounded. He wonders if the other heroes are using their space skills too much, and if they're running away from the battle too quickly. He asks if he can use his pet to play with the walker, instead of using his psychic weapons to scare them away. He doesn't want to frighten them away, he just wants them to be safe.
