In this chapter, Cai tells us that his father is a "tall and reliable" man, and that he always looks up to him. Cai is worried that his last name is "cao" , but he assures us that he's not worried. He's just happy to be working for his father's company. Cai says that he doesn't know if he'll succeed his father, or if his father will succeed him. He also says that Cai's business partner, Mr. Bai, is in town for a visit, and he hopes to work more closely with Cai in the future. Cai also tells Cai that he has a plan to set up his own studio and to work with theaters. He says that if he hadn't gotten along so well with the other artists, he wouldn't have helped them so much.
