The next morning, the narrator wakes up to find that the professor has gone to military training. He's not sure what to make of this news, but he's sure that the two of them are going to have a good time. The professor rings the bell to wake him up, and the narrator is all, "Hey, look, the professor's coming to class!" The professor is totally freaked out by the fact that the narrator doesn't know who he is. The two men head off to lunch together, but the narrator can't get enough of the professor. He tells the professor that he was totally "ghosted" by the professor, and that he'll never speak to the professor again. The narrator swears that this is all because of his "damn hair color" .
