The next morning, the narrator finds the dash cam of a car in the backyard. The girl in the car looks very much like Mill. The narrator is sorry that the girl did not believe him back then. He says that he tried to contact Mill, but he has not heard from him for a few days. He promises to buy the girl's guitar. He also tells her that he has found a guitar that is exactly the same as the one she used to play with him many years ago. He asks her if she would believe him if he told her the truth. She says that she will not lie to him because she needs time to get to know him better. He tells her about the progress of the reconciliation between the two of them.
