The scene opens in the middle of the snow, with zhenyao's friend, drag Lan, staring at bai hu. Lan apologizes for his rude behavior at the beginning of the scene, and says that he's glad that he did it. Worried that he might be being jealous, Lan tries to get to the bottom of what's going on between him and zhenyo. He tells her that they're in love, and that they can work things out between them once they start living together. Lan says he'll let her go if she tells him that she likes him, and he promises to do just that.
