The next day, the two of them go for a walk. They talk about how they used to be friends, and how they still have a lot in common. One day, they went for a run, and the other one went to the theater to watch a play. The narrator asks the two if they had sex before marriage, and one of them says no, but the other says yes, and that he's not sure if they're in love yet. The two then talk about their high school friends, who are now 20 and 21 years old, respectively. One of them has a crush on the other's girlfriend, but they haven't yet been in a relationship. The other says he'll come over and play the cello for a week, and then the two will go to the theatre to watch the play.
