"Wow, awesome" , says the narrator, who is a freshman at the university. He's sitting in the back of the room with his friend bai hu, a freshman studying to be a director of the school's theater school. The two of them have been classmates at the same school all their lives, so they're used to being in the same room together. The narrator is nervous that he's going to run into his childhood friend, Fang, who's also in the class with him. He wants to know more about his friend, and he wants to be friends with him as well. He asks his friend to let him have a look at a nearby ice cream shop, and the two decide to make dumplings together.
