In this chapter, shu and fang talk about how they've been friends for a long time. shu says that he's always wanted to be a doctor, but he was born with a bad case of pneumonia, so he had to fight with the bullies at school. Now, he wants to be strong, and he hopes that when he meets shu again, he'll be able to say, "you're doing well." shu thanks shu for giving him a hand during fang's darkest time, and thanks fang for bringing him to him. He also says that six years ago, he and shu made a promise to each other that shu would be the director of the movie, and they'd write the songs.
