When the chapter opens, we are introduced to shang xi , a young man who has lost all his memories of his childhood sweetheart , rona . . He tells his mother that he wants to be alone with her, and that everything has happened so suddenly that he needs to be with her. He asks her if she has had breakfast, and she says that she has, but that she will not tell him about it without an investigation. She tells him that he can have a check at the hospital to make sure that he has delivered a baby, and he promises that he will always be her sweetheart. He then asks her why she is here, and when she says she is, he says that rona and he are good friends, and rona must have known that he had lost all of his memories. He wants to know three things: why he lost his memories, what happened to him, and why rona gave birth to her son
