The scene opens with a conversation between wang and yin . wang asks what has been going on with him. . yin replies that he hasn't seen zixin in a long time. He's worried that he'll be exhausted by the time the play starts, and that he won't be able to do anything about it. He asks wang if he knows where he's been, and wang says that he doesn't know. He wonders if it's because she's a noble lady, or if she has been locked up by her husband, and he wonders if she'll do anything like that. He also wonders if the woman who said that she'd be fine if she didn't have anything to do with the play is the same woman who locked her up by herself, and wonders if that's the case. He tells wang to take care of himself and not to waste his time, and then wang tells him that he brought business back to them again, and they're happy to have him back. They all drink to their hearts' content, and the scene ends with wang saying that he is much more straightforward than the gang members from gang d. They're all happy that he has a wife and a family, so he can't spend the night with them, but wang cheers him up, and tells him to take a good night's sleep, and to send more people after him to protect him. He says he will be ready for the play the next day, and thanks wang for forgiving him for being so worried about him. The scene closes with .
