"Everything in innovation" is the title of this chapter's opening soliloquy. It's a quote from Shakespeare's "Henry IV Part I" , in which he says that everything in life is an innovation. He says that the tea industry will always follow the same formula, no matter how different it is from the rest of the world. He also says that people will always love the combination of tea and milk because it makes them feel like they're on the "infinite grassland" . The narrator then goes on to say that the milk and tea combination makes him feel like he's tamed the "unruly horses" in his own home. He's so touched by the combination that he drinks more tea than he has in a long time. He asks the other team leaders to take a break from the competition so that he can have a "rest" before the judges give their scores. The two teams win the competition, and the narrator says that it's nice to be an opponent . He tells the team leaders that he'll be waiting for them to fulfill their promise to him . They have an interview to discuss the exhibition, and he tells them that he has not done enough to prepare for it. The exhibition impressed them all, and they thought that the competition didn't deserve Miss yun because of her personal preferences.
