The Governess suddenly becomes nervous. She tries to make a side dish for the Governess, but the food tastes bad. She tells him that she has eaten most of the dishes already, and that he is a "naive jerk" for eating so much meat. She says that she wants more meat, but he has eaten all of the fried meat. He says that it is all hiss now, and she tells him to bring her another plate of rice. She explains that she is happy that they are able to get along so well now that they were "almost frightened to death" . She adds that she does not like to be followed, as she is afraid of being alone. She will try to finish her work earlier the next day, and then she will accompany him on an examination.
