The next morning, the two men discuss the events of the previous day. The former accuses the latter of being his former lover, and the latter accuses the former of being the man who froze his shares and property. The two men continue to argue, but the former finally relents and tells the story of how he was tricked by the latter's wife. He says that the woman tricked him into believing that he was in love with her, and that he taught her a lesson by hitting her in the back of the head with his necktie. He tells the man that he will not trade with the family again, and he says that he has bought all of the stocks in the company at the bottom of the market. The man tells the former that he is tired of defending others, and sends him home to rest. The latter tells him that he thinks the former is tired and should go home for a nap. He asks the man if it is okay for him to go bankrupt, as he had promised him. The ex-lover says that if he had been in a better financial position, he would not have done such a thing to his ex-wife. She tells the men that she ran away to her car and that she will not let the man question her. She says that she has to inform her men to "create chaos" and "escape under the cover" of the situation
