About This Chapter
In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Hiro, who has just arrived in the kingdom. We learn that he is Hiro's pet wolf, and that he has been playing with the wolves in order to find a way to get into the house of Prince Udolpho. The wolves are too weak to fight, and Hiro tells us that he's going to take care of them. He promises to repay Hiro for all the money he owes him. He also tells Hiro that the wolves are going to be gone soon, and he hopes that Hiro will be back soon. Hiro tells him to hurry up and find his escort, who is already waiting for them. Hiro and his sister tease each other about how long it has been since everyone has been in the house, and how they're all in the same room for the same reason: to talk to each other. Hiro says that he once served a hot dog, but now he can't stand the sound of his sister's voice. He tells her that the infant prince has killed all the other princes in the fight. He says that if the infant were to grow up like this, no one would be able to stop him. The infant prince's power is so great that no one can touch him, which is why he killed all of the princes except one. The only other prince who managed to escape the battle was one of his siblings, who was on the brink of death. The other princes wanted to kill all of their siblings, but the one who escaped was the prince who wanted to fight the infant. The prince wanted to face the infant, but he realized that he would have to face his own brother, so he ran away. This is a big mistake, Hiro says, because he didn't want the infant to be killed. He doesn't understand why he wanted the infant
