In the gar den, Falstaff wonders if there are any cherry trees in the house. He notices that the spider girl has not been seen for three days. He wonders if the girl has lost her power as a god. Falstaff says that she has only called herself human when she has found a true god. He then wonders if she has given them virgin blood. He asks if there is anything wrong with saying that she is sleeping. She says that the cherry trees are like cherry blossoms. He draws a map of the house and tries to go straight to the cherry tree. The only thing he can see is the smell of something falling from the tree. He thinks that something is wrong with the doll and wonders if it is the only thing that has broken. He tries to get to the tree, but the smell is too strong for him to get there. He goes back to the room where the doll was broken and asks Falstaff if he is the one who broke the doll. He replies that he is, and Falstaff calls him a "po lice head" . He says that they have to call her a "private detective" because she is so beautiful and clever
