Now that the curse is broken, Hiro wishes to ask the mermaid to help him with his plan. The mermaid tells him that she has found some rock, which she believes to be the temple of the underworld. Hiro tells the mermaid that he has switched the jewel of his ancestors to a fake one in order to save him from the mermaid's clutches. Hiro asks the mermaid where she came from, and the mermaid replies that it was from the devil. Hiro says that he is going to deliver the jewel to his sister, who wants it.
