In this chapter, we are told that the ghost of Orlando has not been seen or heard from for a few days. The ghost tells Orlando that he is the only one who has been affected by Orlando's strange behavior. He tells Orlando to come forward and tell him what is going on. Orlando tells him that he has agreed not to interfere in the war between the two kingdoms. Orlando is upset that Orlando has been so affected by the ghost. He asks Orlando if he is feeling sick. Orlando says he is, but that he only saw the ghost from afar. Orlando realizes that Orlando is his own body, and that he will not be able to return to it.
