In this chapter, we learn that the captain of the wrecked fishing boat was once a fierce warrior who fought with a wild man named Vorg Wild Man. The captain tells us that the ship that sunk his fishing boat sank three days ago, and that the ghost of the wild man was married to a human three days before. The ghost is happy to be reunited with the dead, and the captain says that he'll find the mermaid if he follows the flute. He says that the mermaid used to call ships, and when they came to her, she wouldn't let them go. Now, however, the mermaid has released her captives, and they're ready to eat her alive.
