It's late at night, and Hiro is trying to get ready for bed. He's feeling a little creeped out by the sight of a creep in a trench with his coat over his head. He wants to know what royal blood tastes like, and if it's "virginal" . And he's sure that it tastes just like the blood of a royal ancestor . He coughs and coughs, trying to convince himself that the blood is "enough" , and he wonders if they're really going to attack. He wonders if there's a way to stop the mummies from attacking them, but he can't figure out how to do anything about it. He decides to stay home tonight, since he doesn't want the rain to bother him. He thinks that the mummies are weak, so they'll just attack them as a group, just like they did in the previous chapter. He starts to worry about how long it will take them to get to him, but Hiro reassures him that it'll all be over in the morning, when they can kiss goodbye.
