About This Chapter
Riza, the daughter of a great warrior, asks her father to tell her everything about her distant elder brother, who is a member of the royal family. He is a thief, she says, and can't reveal his identity. She tells him that he lost all of his men in the battle, yet he fought bravely and ran away. She asks him how he knows his brother, and he tells her that he was taken away from the shrine room of a royal who was defeated at the royal castle in the city before he became an adult. She says that if he is from a different family, there is no way that he could know that he is her brother. She also says that rumors are true that he fought with her elder brother in a royal fight, and that he died in the fight. She wonders if this is the case, and wonders if the previous battle for the throne, which took place many years before, was also a case of sibling rivalry.
