The next morning, the daughs talk about how the ghosts are trying to come back at them again. The eldest daugh, Tomi, screams that her father is dead, and she leaves her room to take a walk by herself. The ghosts have written a new version of the Kamashiro story, and they want to know what happened the last time the family was murdered. The narrator tells us that the ghosts want the family to end this "never ending cycle" .
