In this chapter, we are introduced to the protagonist, a young woman who has just returned from a company outing with her friends. We are told that she has been "fucked" by her childhood friend, Anzu, and that she is "sluttish" because she likes to "do ing it" . The protagonist, however, is not frightened by Anzu's behavior, and she does not want her friends to see her as a slovenly slut. She tells them that she wants to go sight-seeing with them, but they are too slow to do so
