He's bummed that he can't see his childhood buddy again, but he also realizes how lucky he is to be working for a company that creates " blockbuster product series" . The narrator tells his friend, Karin, that she's having a great time at the inn. She's also talking about her fiance, whom she met at a party when they were both drunk. Karin tells the narrator that her fiance is "smart and cool" , but that he doesn't yet propose to her. She also tells him that rumors are flying around that a woman could sneak into a house and marry a man, so it's a good idea to invite her to her wedding soon.
