In the second half of the third quarter, Hiroshi and the rest of the team try to rally the troops and keep the game close. Hiroshi laments that he's not fast enough to play in the big leagues and that he doesn't have the technical skills to play at the professional level. He's short and stupid, he says, and he'll never be a great player because he'd never be able to compete with the big guys. In the end, though, the team manages to hang in there.
