In the second half of the second game of the tournament, Tsubaki and the rest of the team have a good chance of winning the match when they catch a corner kick. They're so close, in fact, that they almost lose the game. Tamura and the other defenders try to close the gap, but they're too far back to make any real headway. The other defenders, however, have a better chance of closing the gap when they get the corner kick, and they do just that. They try to get the ball back, but it's too late, and the ref blows up the play. The ref calls a halt to the game, and Tamura is left alone on the field.
