"Bardo chirp" is the first thing that springs to mind when we hear the words "bardo" and "burdock" in the same sentence. It's the first time we've heard this phrase before, so we're not sure what to make of it. We're guessing it's a reference to the fact that Bardo's alarm hasn't gone off yet, or that he's been hanging out with a bunch of other girls in the neighborhood. The girls are talking about how much fun they've been having lately, and how much they're bored with their boring jobs. They're interrupted by Mariko, who tells them that Poly's mom is coming over the next day to pick up her son. Mariko says that she's glad that Poly won't be having to see her like this, since she'll be able to spend more time with him. She's also glad that she and her sister aren't the only two girls who seem to like each other. She tells the girls that she has been looking after her son for a long time, and that she can't understand why he seemed so down. They talk about how happy they are that the girls' "party" is over, and Mariko wonders if they'll ever see each other again.
