The narrator tells a story about a client who wanted to know if there was an item called "token object reading" in an ancient text. The client's guide told the narrator that the item was only used in full moon rituals. The only person who knew about this item was an old woman who sold it for ten times the average salary of the village guide. The narrator decides to ask the old woman's friend, Fujiyuki sensei, to examine the item to see if it is the real deal. The old woman had been the original owner of the item and had lived to be 800 years old. If you live long enough, you are immortal, the narrator tells the reader.
