The chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, where Hirokazu and the others are being held hostage by Hiroshi and his friends. The flashback reveals that the men have been instructed not to shoot at anyone unless it is absolutely necessary to save the lives of the hostages. As the men prepare to leave, they are interrupted by the sound of Tanaka's voice. He is demanding to know why they have come back. The men respond that they came back for him, and that they will not stop until they have left. They are about to leave when they hear Tanaka shouting, "Hurry up, hurry up! Carry the dead weight of my game!"
