The narrator tells Ruchiko that he's going to show Hiroyuki what life is like in his apartment. He wants to make sure that Hiroyuki doesn't know that he lives in a different place during the day. He's also worried that he won't be able to give Hiroyuki a tour of his apartment because he'll be so stressed out. He decides to ask Ruriko to make him some chocolate so he can have some alone time. The narrator is excited to see what's inside the chocolate boxes. He asks if it's the famous "hase kun" , which means "two yakuza members" . He also asks if the rose-hand cream he picked up in Paris is actually "ghosts." The narrator thinks that the rose cream looks like two ghosts hitting each other, and he hopes that the ghost will use it to make a good impression on Hiroyuki. He then asks if Hiroyuki's father works for a company that makes manju , and the narrator says that's a great company. He tells the narrator that he can't stay over at his house because it gets too interesting at night. He says that he eats too much sausage, which makes him feel stupid. He starts to feel like his candor is getting him nowhere. He wonders if he should eat more of a "saurel fest," which is like eating at a "ritzy japanese restaurant." He says he'd rather be young again, which is why he eats so much. Then he asks if he can get some caviar, which he thinks is too much for him. He warns him not to tell
