One week after the end of summer break, the narrator and his friend, Chika, are hanging out at an art exhibit. Chika is studying folklore, and the narrator is studying math. They're both psyched to be back at school, but they're bummed that they can't go to the art show because it's summer break. They ask Chika if he's going to hang out with the other students, and he says he'll. The two of them joke that they've run into two other students at the art exhibit before, and that they think they'll be able to flirt with Chika when they see them hanging out with other students. The narrator and Chika are bummed that the exhibit is closed for the day, and they decide to head back to their room.
