About This Chapter
The narrator tells the audience that he is the fool, and that he has come to meet the master of the universe, yushi, after a long journey. He tells yushi to be quiet, because he has a dream. The narrator says that the dream is a "prophecy" of the hiero-zono-icon, a symbol of the major arcana. He says that in this world there exists a "great grimoire" known as the Hiero-Zo-icon. The book is called "the petit hierozo-icon" because it is a parody of both the major and minor arcanas. In this dream, the narrator says, they have reached the "end of our journey" and are now "yours to command" . The next symbol is chokmah, one of the enumerations of the "meticulous tradition" , a retainer of "the owl of know- edge" who served the "goddess of wisdom." The narrator asks the master to wake up, but the master is too tired to do so. The master says that he wants to get out of the room, and the narrator tells him that he moved back to the "apart cafe house" because he wanted to be rich.
