The chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which we see the transformation of the old man into the young man. The old man must have been created by the "000 power" . The flashback is interrupted by the arrival of the mother and father, who are on their way back to the manor. The mother tells the father that the girl they saw earlier is the daughter of Kishida. The father tells the mother that he has lost all hope of saving Kishida, and that the world will soon collapse and disappear. He tells her that she has a strong heart and that he will grant her the power to save Kishida's life. The two of them stay up all night, and the father says that he and the mother will go back to Kishida the next morning. He says that Kishida will soon die, but that he is not going to die just because he has special powers. He will not be a martyr, he says, because he does not want to leave Kishida to his fate.
