About This Chapter
The narrator returns to the art gallery. He's happy to be back, and he's eager to get back to his normal life. He asks the art guy if he can have another sea urchin "trompi" , which is a dish made from seaweed. The narrator says he'd rather have a good sea urchin than a trompi that's made of seaweed. He also says that he'll be able to get another bowl of ruriko , a seaweed dish, and tokoroten, a kind of gelatin dish. He says he can't really ignore the fact that the "id monster" is gone. He hopes that after this, everything will be back to normal. The art guy asks if the narrator has lost his mind, and the narrator replies that he hasn't. Then the narrator asks if anyone else has written this. The guy says he has, and then the narrator turns to him and says that the guy has completely lost it. Then he turns to the narrator and says, "Hey, we should call you goyelem at a time when this is happening." The narrator thanks the guy for being sick, and thanks the hospital for taking care of him. He then asks if there's anything else he can do about the bro's bros. He tells the narrator that he spent three days trying to figure out how to use the Brobdingnagian print outs. The estimate for the book is gone, he says. He wonders if it was a good thing he got involved in the bros' bro
