The chapter opens with a flashback to the theater, where Hirokazu and Ureta are discussing the recent theatrical release of "Theat." Ureta has just returned from a wrestling match in which he knocked down ten pins in ten seconds and won the match. Ureta, however, was unable to complete the match because he was injured in a wrestling accident. The two friends discuss the possibility of a second wrestling match, and they decide to make a bet: Ureta will win if he knocks down the pins the most and if he wins if he hits the most. The friends decide to play a game of "pin bowling," a game in which one player throws a pin at the other player's opponent and wins. The friend who wins the most pins wins the match, but the friend who hits the pin the most wins the tournament. The other two friends agree to play the game together.
