Tsubaki and Asada arrive at Asada's house. Asada is surprised to see them, and she asks if they are going to visit her mother's grave, which is about 20 minutes away by bus from Asada. Asara says that she is going to meet her at the bus stop, and asada says she will meet her by the station. Asahigaoka says that he is surprised that she would think such things, and he asks her what was her mother like when she died. She says that when she was very small, she would cry, but when her mother died, she did not cry. She asks him to give her his left hand to open her mouth, and when he does, she gives him her right hand.
