In this chapter, we learn that Tsubaki and Tomoaki were absent from school the day before, and that they were notified that they would not be able to go swimming together. Tommoaki, however, is determined to take his friend, oka, to the beach, even though he knows that it would be a dangerous sight. He tells his friend that he has seen oka in her school uniform in a bikini, and he is certain that it will never happen again. He also tells his friends that Leno has been acting weird lately, asking him where he has been, and touching his chest. He wonders why Leno is so suspicious of his relationship with his friend when they are both wearing revealing clothes, or asking him to dress more if he wears revealing clothes. Finally, he asks his friend if he wants to come swimming with him while his family is out for the weekend. The two of them agree to meet at the beach.
