In this chapter, we learn that the girls from the swimming club's class are going to represent themselves at the upcoming O'meet swim meet. One of the girls, Ursula, has been feeling sick lately, so she went to the nurses' office to get some medicine. Ursula tells us that she took a picture of the pool when she was feeling sick, and that she thinks the girls in her class have nice bodies. Ursula then tells us about her relationship with Wakano, and how they share the same duties as the other girls in the class. Ursula says that she loves swimming, and when she's in the water, her body feels lighter. She also says that Wakano is a good swimmer, too, and it makes her feel like her heart is lighter, too. Ursula asks if she is thirsty, and she says she'll drink iced coffee and black tea. She then asks if Ursula's body feels heavy, and he says it's because he picked up a photo of Wakano that fell from his pocket the day before. He says that he doesn't have the photo because he wanted it, but because he thinks Wakano looks pretty and he has the same class responsibilities as Ursula. Ursula, however, has noticed a sudden drop in her lap times, which she thinks is related to the fact that she picked up the wrong photo.
